Liz Midtlien has been a friend and customer of Trainer Bonnie Minor for over twenty-five years. “She is the quintessential professional- she brings out the best in horse and rider and challenges us every day,” Liz said.

Bonnie is the hardest working woman Liz knows. “I will always be grateful for her directness, horsemanship, and overall love of the horses she works with.”

Liz believes that Bonnie has the fantastic ability to find the “magic combination” between horse and rider essential for success in the ring and in life.

In 2019, Liz returned to the show ring after a ‘mom’ break. Throughout the year, Liz and her horse, Talldarkandchocolate ‘Rylee,’ were in the upper national standings in Select and L1 Amateur All-Around Events, All Around Select Amateur in her region’s L1 Championship, and a Congress Champion one late night at the 2019 All American Quarter Horse Congress. Together they won the L1 Select HUS and placed in the L1 Showmanship and Horsemanship.
