Congress Reflections presented by The Equine Chronicle

The smell of a Sweet Shop cinnamon roll wafting down the Midway. Fall foliage fluttering down the pathway leading to the Denny Hales. Setting up of elaborate stall decorations in the Gilligan.

Waking up at 3 am to snag a coveted practice spot. Discovering a myriad of treasures in the Trade Show. Laughing and joking with friends you haven’t seen in years.

The anticipation as the competition draws near. An epic performance completed with perfect execution. The thrill of victory or just a personal best.
These are some of our favorite memories each year at the Quarter Horse Congress. Sadly, none of us will be headed to Columbus, Ohio, this year due to the pandemic. However, the Congress WILL be back. The horses and exhibitors WILL return once more. And The Equine Chronicle WILL be there to capture all of the special moments like we always have.

And perhaps next year, it might mean just a little bit more.
