OQHA Welcomes New Corporate Partner Shorty's Hattery

Lavonna “Shorty” Koger started Shorty’s Caboy Hattery in 1990 in the historic Stockyards City, OK. Over the last 20+ years, she has built quite a name for herself in the horse industry. Determined that nothing was going to stop her, Shorty has the only woman-owned and operated custom hattery in the United States.

Growing up, she had a passion for horse life — being a rodeo cowgirl from the age of 14. Soon Shorty grew to love making quality hats that are now worn by many who are well-known in the western world, including horse show and rodeo winners and even country music stars.

Known for their handcrafted stitching, fun designs/colors, and impressive detail, Shorty’s hats are unique and of incredibly high quality. Don’t believe us? Try one. OQHA is proud to have Shorty's Caboy Hattery as the Official Cowboy Hat of the All American Quarter Horse Congress.
