Moments That Matter - Heroes on Horses

The Congress Heroes Breakfast brought veterans and our equine community together to honor those who have served our nation. We were privileged to welcome keynote speaker Congressman Mike Carey, a U.S. Army veteran, and Ohio Department of Agriculture Director Brian Baldridge.

Presented in partnership with the National Snaffle Bit Association Foundation and made possible by the generous support of Angela Wade and The Janis Family, this program continues to change lives. Our sponsors also provided a Congress jacket for every Heroes exhibitor, adding another special moment to a meaningful day.

The celebration continues at Congress PBR! Our Heroes exhibitors have been invited back to carry the flag, with 200 additional veterans invited to join us for the evening. We’ll also share the Heroes on Horses story on the jumbotron to introduce even more people to this special program.

Please enjoy the below photos from the Heroes breakfast and the Heroes class.

Congratulations to the winners of the Heroes on Horses competition: Heidi Steinway and Annie!
