Who We Are

The All American Quarter Horse Congress is the world’s largest horse show, with more than 28,000 entries annually. Held each fall at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, the Congress welcomes more than 500,000 people and generates more than $426 million in annual economic impact for central Ohio.

The Congress is hosted by the Ohio Quarter Horse Association, an affiliate of the American Quarter Horse Association. OQHA’s mission is to protect and promote the Quarter Horse and the interests of owners, breeders, exhibitors and enthusiasts. OQHA is committed to setting the standard in the equine industry through world-class competition, recreational activities, education and opportunities that engage the next generation of participants and industry leaders.

The Ohio Expo Center can be accessed from Interstate 71 by taking the 17th Avenue exit, Exit 111, west. During the Congress, 17th Avenue will serve as the entrance and will be open only to Congress traffic. Both 17th Avenue and 11th Avenue will be used as exits from the grounds.

Admission

General admission to the Congress Horse Show and Trade Show is FREE. The Pro Horsemen Perspective Live Series is also complimentary.

Tickets are required for Freestyle Reining and the Congress PBR.

Parking

Daily Parking: $25 per vehicle
Mondays and Tuesdays: $15 per vehicle
Wednesdays: FREE, thanks to Huntington Bank, Stallion Transportation Group, and the National Snaffle Bit Association
Entire Event Parking: $75 per vehicle

Transaction fees are not included.

Vehicles using daily parking must park north of 17th Avenue. Commercial exhibitors, horse show exhibitors and spectators with Entire Event Parking passes may park on the main fairgrounds south of 17th Avenue.

Entire Event Parking also includes the top of the Gilligan Barn for trucks and cars. Trailers are not permitted on top of the Gilligan Barn, and traffic around the barn will be one way.

Parking rules will be enforced beginning September 24.

Any vehicle, including a trailer, truck, car or golf cart, parked in an unauthorized area or without the proper sticker or permit will be towed by the Ohio State Highway Patrol at the owner’s expense.

Horse Trailer Parking

All horse trailers parked south of 17th Avenue or in RV lots will be subject to the daily camping fee of $60 per day beginning on the date of arrival. Trailers not being used for camping may be parked at no charge in the designated trailer parking area north of 17th Avenue.
